Delia De Santis was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada with her family when she was thirteen. Her writing has been published in Canada, England, Italy, and the USA. Her work has appeared in several anthologies, including The Anthology of Italian Canadian Writing (Guernica, 1998), and the Pillars of lace (Guernica, 1998). She is co-editor of the anthologies Sweet Lemons: Writings with a Sicilian Accent (Legas, 2004), Writing Beyond History (Cusmano, 2006), and Strange Peregrinations (Frank Iacobucci Centre for Italian Canadian Studies, 2007). Delia De Santis has two grown sons and lives in Bright’s Grove, Ontario, with her husband.
